At The Game Keep, gaming isn’t just a hobby—it’s a lifestyle, a community, and a way of connecting with friends old and new. Ron and Brandy, longtime patrons and passionate gamers themselves, fell in love with the store years before taking the reins in 2021. Their story is as epic as any campaign: they met at The Game Keep, forged a bond through shared quests, and, when the previous owner decided to retire, took up the mantle to continue the legacy. Their mission? To create a sanctuary where players of all levels can come together, roll dice, deploy armies, and forge friendships that last a lifetime.
Since 1996, The Game Keep has been Hermitage, TN’s ultimate hub for board games, role-playing games, miniatures, and hobby supplies. Whether you’re rolling your first D20 or painting your hundredth Warhammer 40K miniature, our shelves are stocked with everything you need to level up your gaming experience. When I first moved to Nashville, three years ago, this was the place I went to start meeting new people. Now; I go every Wednesday for Adventure League DnD, and it’s a BLAST!! They also seem to have have an active Warhammer community. They also do “family board game night” on Mondays.
If you’re into TTRPG’s, it’s definitely worth checking out. If that’s not your thing, or maybe you find TTRPG’s to be to complex, or daunting; you still don’t want to sleep on this store. Because: they also carry a wide variety of board games; sure to match the taste of even the most picky of gamers.
I guess what I’m saying is they carry a large selection of incredible games, and gaming accessories. It’s also supporting local. Not sure about you (the reader of this review), but that sure is important to me (the author of this review).
So, say what you want, and play how you want. This place will rock your socks off. And I mean that, they definitely have a little bit of something for everyone, with a knowledgeable staff; who are ready with suggestions and solutions: Whatever your gaming needs may be.
TL;DR: If you’re debating it, definitely check out The Game Keep. This place cooks fam.
